Noted architectural designer Bob Bacon was the inspiration behind the unique look and architectural ambience of Monte Vista Ranch. Bob did the land planning and architectural design for the Monte Vista Ranch Gatehouse, The Lodge and all of the homes in The Ranch Villas and The Ranch Cottages. Bob was named by Phoenix Home and Garden as its 2001 Residential Design Master of the Southwest.
