Out Wickenburg Way

“Out Wickenburg way” is an expression you’ll hear often from Wickenburg residents. No one is quite sure how the expression got started or exactly what it means. But there is a uniquely Wickenburg way of living.

Wickenburg is a laid-back and friendly town. You can’t live in Wickenburg very long before everyone is greeting you by name.

Almost all of the businesses are locally owned and operated.

There only four stoplights in the entire town…and no parking meters.

Not everyone owns a horse; but everybody knows how to ride.

Not everyone is a rancher; but everybody has a cowboy hat and a favorite pair of jeans and boots.

It’s a way of life you have to experience to appreciate. Yet once you experience it, you’ll never tire of it.
